The Legacy Saloon is the ideal fusion of gracious, understated styling with a driving experience that appeals to the intellect and every emotion.
Every model in the range promises outstanding performance no matter what the weather or road has in store. Choose petrol power and select either the 2.0R, 175PS 2.5SE or 2.5SEn or, go for the high performance 3.0 spec.B. Alternatively opt for Subaru's unique high-performance 150PS 2.0 Boxer Diesel fitted to the 2.0 R, 2.0RE and 2.0 REn where class-leading emissions and economy are standard.
Specification levels are impressive. The R, for example, features cruise control, HID Xenon headlamps and an outstanding 6 Disc autochanger audio system with MP3 compatibility.
In the middle of the range sits the SE and SEn petrol models and the equivalent RE and REn Diesel models, all offering high levels of luxury including leather upholstery. The REn and SEn include a brand new Satelite Navigation system that incorporates DVD video playback as well as GPS functionality.
The top of the range petrol 3.0 spec.B gets S-I drive, a system which allows you control over numerous different aspects of the car's handling and performance characteristics, at the touch of a button. The automatic variant also provides F1-style gearchange paddles for an even more interactive driving experience.
